Q | What type of lines do we use? |
A | We use 20 strand 100% solid braid polypropylene. There is no inner core and are ready to use with pre-sewn triple box stitched loops. We use heavy duty marine webbing as well as marine grade thread. They FLOAT, and will remain soft and easy to handle. Our lines are UV protected and color resistant. They can be stored wet will not rot or mildew, and are washable. Available in 22 vibrant colors made with pride in the USA. |
Q | Do the lines really float? |
A | Yes, our dock lines, fender ties, spring lines and any other specialty items float. With the addition of Stainless Steel hardware on our lines we recommend adding a float. |
Q | What line diameter is right for you? |
A | 7/16" This line is recommended for boats up to 24' in length. 5/8" This line is recommended for boats 25' to 40'. 3/4" This line is recommended for boats 40' and over. 1" This line is available by special request only. |
Q | What are the Tensile strengths of your lines? |
A | Tensile strengths are averages based on tests of new rope in laboratory conditions. 7/16" 3200 lbs. 5/8" 5600 lbs. 3/4" 8800 lbs. |
Q | Does the line stretch? |
A | Yes, approximately 15% to 20%. |
Q | Do you do Custom work? |
A | ABSOLUTELY, custom work is our specialty!! We are happy to help you with special requests and have experienced staff to manufacture and help design any product you request. |
Q | How long does it take to receive my order? |
A | We pride ourselves that in most cases our turnaround time is within 1 to 3 days. Some special and custom orders may take a little longer depending on the amount of orders we have received. |
